The Andaman Islands lie in the Bay of Bengal between India to the west and Myanmar to the north and east. There is only one commercial airport situated in Port Blair. Flights are available from various major cities in India.


Best time to visit Andaman is from January to May, which is the best time to enjoy the diving. The monsoons start from June and remain until July.


Andaman is known for its sea food cuisine but one can also find Burmese and Thai dishes. Freshly cooked prawns, fish, lobster, crabs etc are easily available at most local joints. Fresh coconut water is mostly served as complimentary with sea food dishes in restaurants.

  • Second must to visit beach is Radhanagar beach which is located on the western coast of the Havelock Island. It is among the most popular beaches in India and awarded as the best beach in Asia in 2004.

  • Marina Park , also known as ‘Samudrika Marine Museum’, is located at Port Blair. It was established to spread awareness about the importance of the conservation of the aquatic life and resources in the Andaman Islands. The park has five sections where people can get geographical information along with history of Andaman Islands and marine life.
  • Second must visit attraction is The Viper Island which is named after snakes that inhabit the island.
